Authorities identified the man who died after a crash on Lewis Road outside of Camarillo on Aug. 15.
Omar Vasquez, 26, was from Ventura, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office. He died of blunt head trauma and his death was ruled an accident.
The California Highway Patrol had previously identified him as an Oxnard resident.
Vasquez was driving a Toyota Tacoma northbound on South Lewis Road near University Drive when he traveled across the southbound lanes and crashed into an embankment, CHP officials previously said.
The Toyota flipped multiple times after hitting the embankment.
Vasquez was transported to the Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, where he was later pronounced dead.
