California Lutheran University students and staff faced technology troubles on the first day of school year that still affected some service the next day.
The Thousand Oaks college has experienced an extended network service outage since Aug. 24, impacting internet, email and internal campus technology systems, according to CLU's homepage. The last update was shortly after 6:30 p.m.
University officials did not immediately respond to questions, but the website states all in-person classes will continue as scheduled.
Online classes are not available. Synchronous courses are canceled until further notice, and asynchronous course schedules will be adjusted as needed.Students who need help locating classrooms can visit the flagpole on campus, Starbucks
or the student union for guidance.
Students and staff were told they should still be able to access their emails through the Outlook app on their phone.
