Authorities identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash with a truck near the Esplanade Mall in Oxnard on Sept. 3.
Abraham Rodriguez Torres, 22, was from Santa Paula, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office. He died of multiple, blunt-force injuries, and his death was ruled an accident.
Rodriguez Torres was riding a motorcycle on Esplanade Drive around 4:21 p.m. when he was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado making a left turn onto Esplanade from the shopping center, the Oxnard Police Department previously said.
The man and his motorcycle were pinned under the truck as it continued a short distance before the driver stopped and called 911, police said.
Rodriguez Torres was pulled out from underneath the truck and transported
to the Ventura County Medical Center, where he died hours later.
