The wait is nearly over for a new option for bagels, coffee, breakfast sandwiches and other items in downtown Detroit.
Einstein Bros. Bagels is set to open Monday, Oct. 19 inside the lobby of One Campus Martius. Announced in September, it’s the first downtown Detroit location for the brand.
This is a franchise location owned by Randy Dickow, president of food and beverage for the Cicero Hospitality. Dickow also operates the nearby Adelina restaurant on Woodward and Bell Bistro in Birmingham.

You can expect bagels as well as breakfast and lunch sandwiches, including Einstein's signature lineup − Nova lox, turkey, bacon and avocado. There's even a pizza bagel. Beverages include specialty coffees like hot and iced lattes, hot and cold brewed coffee and a variety
of fruit refreshers.
Third-party delivery will be available, as will catering, in the near future.
At about 1,200 square feet, Einstein's at One Campus Martius is a walk-up counter in the lobby on the first floor, next to True Market.
Hours for this location are 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In metro Detroit there are now more than 15 Einstein Bros. Bagels locations. In May that Bruegger’s Bagels’ locations in Michigan were converted to Einstein Bros. Bagels.
