As expected, President Donald Trump is headed back to Michigan ahead of the midterm elections, with an event to be held at an as-yet undisclosed location in St. Clair County on Sunday, Oct. 25.
The Trump
47 Committee – a joint fundraising venture between Trump's Save America committee, the Republican National Committee and other GOP organizations – released information about the event on Friday, Oct. 16, saying doors for the event will open at 11:30 a.m. and Trump's remarks will begin at 3 p.m.
The event is open to the public but tickets will be required. A maximum of four tickets is allowed for each attendee signing up online.
Trump had said earlier in October he would return to Michigan ahead of the election. The visit will come a day after Democratic former President Barack Obama is expected to hold a get-out-the-vote rally in Detroit on Oct. 24.
Trump has been holding rallies around the country ahead of the midterm elections with Democrats widely expected to make key gains in both chambers of Congress.
