Election Day has finally reached Michigan, and all eyes are on the mitten today as voters take to the polls to decide a slew of key races, including the nationally watched Democratic primary for an open U.S. Senate seat.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
More than a million voters have already cast ballots for the Tuesday, Aug. 4 statewide primary thanks to early and absentee voting, but many more will take to the polls today to decide a pair of gubernatorial primaries and a Democratic U.S. Senate primary that's, in some ways, turned into a referendum on the direction of the Democratic Party during President Donald Trump's second stint in Washington.
We'll be at the polls, too — speaking with voters about the issues shaping their decisions.
