The Detroit Lions closed their bye week Friday, Oct. 16, with a slew of roster moves.
The Lions placed wide receiver Tom Kennedy, linebacker Devin White and offensive guard Ben Bartch on injured reserve.
Lions coach Dan Campbell said this week Kennedy will miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery for a knee injury he suffered in Sunday's victory over the Arizona Cardinals. White broke his forearm in the same game in a collision with teammate Chuck Clark, but could return later this year, Campbell said.

Bartch has not played since Week 2 as he continues to recover from the Lisfranc surgery that ended his season prematurely in 2025.
Bartch replaced an injured Christian Mahogany
at left guard in Week 1 and started the Lions' Week 2 loss to the Buffalo Bills, but has been inactive the past three weeks.
The Lions signed veteran receiver DeAndre Carter on Thursday to handle some of Kennedy's return duties.
