Two people were arrested for obstructing police after a fight at Grand Valley State University involving baseball bats and a knife, said university spokesperson Peg West.
At least two people were injured, according to campus officials.
One person, who officials did not name, was taken to a local hospital for treatment for lacerations to his hand.
Another person reported knee and hand injuries but declined transportation to the hospital.
Officials say at approximately 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8, campus police responded to a large fight with weapons.
Police found the fight taking place outside of the Holton-Hooker Living Center reserved exclusively for first-year and honors students.
Campus officials say the incident remains under investigation and
multiple suspects are sought.
