Amazon’s second major shopping event of the year, Prime Big Deal Days (also known as October Prime Day), takes place Tuesday, Oct. 7, through Wednesday, Oct. 8, for Prime members, and offers some of the best prices of the year on tech, toys, travel essentials, fashion and more.
Prime Big Deal Days is Amazon’s fall shopping event designed to kick off the holiday shopping season. Many deals won’t return until late November so this is your early chance to grab holiday gifts before the chaos of Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping begins.
The members-only sale is typically packed with thousands of deals across every category, from Apple devices and top-tier Bissell vacuums to cozy fall finds and giftable beauty sets.

- Eligible"young adults" — those 18 to 24 and students — can get a six-month Amazon Prime for Young Adults membership at zero cost and save 50% after that with a discounted fee of $7.49 per month or $69 annually.
- Prime Access costs $3.50 per month for the first three months for qualifying EBT and Medicaid recipients, and $6.99 per month after that.
