Welcome to the final Detroit Lions preseason game of 2026.
The Lions' second- and third-stringers will face some starters from the Indianapolis Colts in the first quarter on Saturday afternoon. However, neither starting quarterback Daniel Jones nor running back Jonathan Taylor will play for the Colts, with backup Anthony Richardson starting under center.
The Lions' critical veteran starters, including quarterback Jared Goff, have not played a down in preseason, but a few lower-level starters have played.
