Two Dearborn police officers and a suspect were shot and injured during an early morning incident Friday, Aug. 21.
The shooting took place about 2:30 a.m. as Dearborn police attempted to arrest a suspect in the area of Inkster and Van Born roads, according to a news release from the Dearborn Police Department.
The intersection is where Dearborn Heights, Westland, Romulus and Taylor meet.
The officers were taken to a hospital for non-life threatening gunshot wounds and the suspect was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.
The incident remains under investigation, and further information was not immediately available.
