When will the Detroit Lions wear Salute to Service gear?
The Detroit Lions will begin wearing their 2026 Salute to Service apparel on the field starting in Week 8 with a matchup against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Nov. 11.
According to Fanatics, the collection features the same Nike apparel, jerseys and New Era headwear that players and coaches will wear during the league's annual Salute to Service campaign.

Where do NFL Salute to Service proceeds go?
The NFL says it does not profit from the sale of Salute to Service products. Instead, charitable contributions from the program are directed through the NFL Foundation, which supports the league's Salute to Service military partners.
The annual initiative is designed to recognize and honor current service members, veterans and military families while helping support military-focused nonprofit organizations through the program's charitable giving.
