With guns drawn, the FBI raided drug rehab centers in Detroit, Troy, and Eastpointe on Tuesday, Aug. 25, breaking down the door of one center before storming in.
The raids occurred at Quality Behavioral Health centers, described as a "One Stop Center for Addiction Treatment" on its website,where it cites services including detox/withdrawal treatment, and inpatient and outpatient treatments.

“I can confirm that members from the FBI in Michigan were present earlier this morning, Aug. 25, 2026 in Detroit, Troy and Eastpointe conducting law enforcement activities. There was no threat to the public during that time,” Detroit FBI spokesperson Jordan Hall said in a statement. No further details were provided.

Troy Police Sgt. John Julian confirmed to the Free Press that his department assisted the FBI in the raid in his jurisdiction.
The Detroit Free Press called and sent email messages to Quality Behavioral Services Aug. 25, but did not get an immediate response.
Video of one of the raids was posted on the Metro Detroit News Facebook page. It shows multiple agents and police at a door, guns drawn and with shields, breaking down the door and entering. The Free Press confirmed the authenticity of the video.
