Ulta Beauty lovers won't be able to stock up on the company's cosmetic goods at Target, but you'll still be able to shop at the chain's own stores and through a new retail collaborative that's on its way.

Retail company Pacsun announced the limited-time partnership in a July 27 news release, touting the exclusivity of its collection with Ulta Beauty. Customers will have the chance to shop in-store or online for makeup from top brands like Fenty Beauty and NYX Professional Makeup, along with a "Who's Gonna Stop Us" hoodie.

The move comes as Ulta Beauty's five-year partnership with Target is set to end in August, with Target replacing 600 Ulta Beauty mini-stores nationwide with its own Target Beauty Studios, USA TODAY reported. Ulta continues to maintain

several dozen stand-alone Ulta Beauty stores across Michigan.

"Beauty has become one of the most powerful forms of self-expression, and at Ulta Beauty, we're committed to showing up where culture is created and embraced," said Kelly Mahoney, chief marketing officer at Ulta Beauty, in the release. "Our collaboration with Pacsun is a celebration of individuality and creativity, bringing together fashion and beauty in a way that feels fresh, relevant and authentic for our guests. As an extension of our Rewrite the Rules summer campaign, this partnership encourages guests of all ages to express themselves boldly, explore their personal style with confidence and discover beauty on their own terms."

Here's what to know about Ulta Beauty's new partnership.

Is Ulta Beauty leaving Target stores?

Yes, Ulta Beauty and Target have ended their partnership and Ulta Beauty will close its 600 mini-stores in Target stores nationwide by August as the two companies mutually agreed not to renew their agreement.

Target will replace the Ulta mini-stores with Target Beauty Studios, featuring more than 80 global and emerging brands, including more than 60 brands that are new to Target customers.

Shoppers will be able to purchase Ulta products from Target's stores and online through August.

Who is Ulta Beauty's new partner?

Ulta Beauty is rolling out a new limited-edition partnership with fashion retailer Pacsun, the two companies will release a fashion and beauty collection, the release said.

The collection features two "collaboratively curated" essential kits, The Lip Statement Kit and The Glow Authority and an exclusive Pacsun x Ulta Beauty limited-edition hoodie, the release said.

"At Pacsun, we're always looking for new ways to connect with our community through partnerships that feel authentic to their lifestyle," said Richard Cox, chief merchandising officer of Pacsun, in the release. "Our partnership with Ulta Beauty brings together two brands that celebrate self-expression, confidence and individuality. By combining Pacsun's fashion-first perspective with Ulta Beauty's leadership in beauty, we're creating an exciting new destination where our guests can discover products that reflect who they are."

How can you shop the collection?

The collection launched at Pacsun's SoHo New York City store on July 28 and will expand to more than 100 Pacsun stores nationwide and online on Aug. 6.

Starting Aug. 2, you can also shop the collection at select Ulta Beauty stores, online on Ulta Beauty's website and on TikTok Shop, per the release. The limited-edition hoodie will be for sale on Ulta Beauty's website and TikTok Shop starting Aug. 6.
