The Detroit Lions announced a new ticket program for fans who just want to be in the building.
For every home game at Ford Field starting Oct. 25, the Lions will offer a minimum of 100 standing-room-only tickets for $60 each. The program, team officials say, is designed to enhance accessibility, giving more fans an opportunity to experience Ford Field and see the Lions in person.
Tickets are only available for purchase in person at Ford Field, are limited to four per person and are non-transferable.
They will be made available on game days only. Fans who are interested need to go to Gate D four hours prior to kickoff to receive a wristband that indicates the ability to purchase the tickets.
Once wristbands are distributed, those fans can be screened
and enter through Gate D.
After the tickets are sold out, the remaining guests will be notified, and the standing-room ticket program will conclude.
"This program is for our fans and our community. It's another way we can recognize the energy and support we receive all year long," said Rich Haddad, Detroit Lions President and CEO, in a statement. "We are excited to expand access to our games and give more fans the opportunity to experience Ford Field and contribute to the best home field advantage in the NFL."
