It was looking the worst loss in years for Michigan football – until it suddenly wasn't.
Michigan beat Western Michigan, 13-12, on a controversial, last-second Hail Mary from quarterback Bryce Underwood to receiver JJ Buchanan. The win came after a Hail Mary attempt on the previous play appeared to sail out of the end zone with the game clock expired. But the referees put one second left on the clock, allowing the Wolverines to turn what looked to be an upset loss into a stunning comeback win.
Naturally, the reactions from such a game are mixed.
