To celebrate Lincoln Motor Company moving its headquarters to Ford's Michigan Central in Detroit, the brand's owners club held a Lincolns and Lattes show.
Over 50 Lincolns were parked in front of the rebuilt train station and more on a nearby grass lot in the city's Corktown neighborhood.
The event honored the history of an iconic luxury American automaker while also displaying its newer vehicles.
Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Foundation
Most of the classic cars that were present at the event were from members of the Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Foundation. Owners from around the United States and Canada brought their vehicles to Detroit for the event. Other Lincoln cars on display were newer models, some of them showcasing the Rejuvenation experience for owners to relax while they are
parked, something Lincoln describes as "heat and massage options, cabin climate control, Digital Scents, sound, lighting, and screen visuals to help create a more invigorating experience inside your vehicle.*
Speaking at the event were the president of Lincoln, Joaquin Ñuno-Whelan, along with Edsel Ford II, who both told the audience about how Lincoln came to be one of the most popular luxury brands made in the United States.
The Lincolns and Lattes event was a part of the Lincoln Homecoming 2026, which through Aug. 9 will feature different events celebrating Lincoln and its history.
