Naked Burger in Clinton Township, known for its award-winning truffle burger, has abruptly shuttered.
"A chapter has come to a close," according to an Instagram post by Naked Burger on Sept. 29.
The gourmet burger spot was known for its grass-fed beef and various burger creations. Naked Burger's other menu items included sides of a variety of fries fried in beef tallow, chicken sandwiches, salads, milkshakes, beer and wine, according to its website.
According to the post, the owners decided to close and focus on Patty & Press — their smash burger joint in Shelby Township. But they also posted that it's not the end for Naked Burger and they have plans to bring it back to a new location in the future.

“We don’t have a place or timeline to share just
yet, but when the time is right, we’ll be back,” reads the post.
An Internet search lists Naked Burger as “temporarily closed,” per its Google listing.
At 43203 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, Naked Burger opened in 2020, just ahead of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Goran Dimic and Brandon Gorgies are the owners and founders of G&B Hospitality and the owners of Naked Burger. The partners softly opened Patty & Press at 52300 Van Dyke in Shelby Township in late December and celebrated a grand opening in March.
The owners did not immediately respond to Free Press messages.

Gift cards and loyalty rewards will be honored at Patty & Press, the Instagram post says. Patty & Press touts its smash burgers, made with a 100% grass-fed custom beef blend, as “better-for-you.”
More recently, the burger joint's owners announced an expansion with another – and larger – metro Detroit location in Bloomfield Township at 42983 Woodward Ave. This location is a former Zoup! spot. At more than 1,700 square feet, this new spot will accommodate 24 seats for dining in, compared to eight seats at the carryout-heavy Shelby Township location.
