Kid Rock has a pair of albums on the way — including a fall release that apparently will find him embracing a spiritual direction.
The Michigan-born rocker announced the news in a video Wednesday, Aug. 19, as he marked the 28th anniversary of his breakout album, “Devil Without a Cause.”
Reflecting on that 1998 multiplatinum record, Rock said he “might have a little left in the (musical) tank” before revealing the upcoming album will be mastered next week, with video shoots to follow.

“It’s a crazy journey I’ve been on, this spiritual journey,” said Rock, raised Robert Ritchie in Romeo. “I’ve grown a lot stronger in my faith.”
He added that it’s an album he “was called to record,” and that he’s already got “another Kid Rock record ready to go after
that.”
Rock topped Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart earlier this year with a cover of Cody Johnson’s “’Til You Can’t,” a song he performed in February as part of his alternative halftime show with Turning Point USA. During that live performance, he added some new lyrics of his own, with references to Jesus and faith.
The single reached No. 14 on Billboard’s country chart.
Rock, 55, did not indicate exact release dates or label tie-ins for the upcoming music. His last album, the Southern rock-heavy “Bad Reputation,” was released in 2022 on his own Top Dog Records.
