A Restoration Hardware outlet has made its way to Farmington Hills.
Doors opened Thursday, Aug. 27, on the furniture and home goods store along Orchard Lake Road at 14 Mile.
Restoration Hardware is the first of the "new businesses coming on in the Hunter's Square development," Farmington Hills Mayor Theresa Orlaske Rich said in a video on social media.
"A significant portion of the center had fallen into vacancy and disrepair, yet the site carried strong nostalgic value for the surrounding community, making the case for change both commercially urgent and politically sensitive," according to Symmetry Management, the developer on the project.

The project will add several new retailers and restaurants to the partially vacant plaza, including Meijer, Total Wine & More, Nordstrom Rack, RH Outlet, First Watch and Cava, according to developers. Existing tenants that will remain at the center include TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Dollar Store and Ulta. The plaza is the former longtime home of Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, whichplans to relocate to West Bloomfield.
Several other tenants were relocated within the center as part of the rebuild, including Five Below, Buffalo Wild Wings and Mattress Firm, Symmetry Management stated.
"We're very delighted to have them as part of our community," Rich said. "So when it's remodel time, stop on by RH Outlet and check out our newest of businesses."
The business is located at 30995 Orchard Lake Road.
