Kenny Chesney will make the 13thFord Field appearance of his career when his Original Vibe Room Tour hits the Lions’ den Aug. 14. Eric Church and Sheryl Crow will be in the opening spots for the 19-city stadium romp, a long-running summer tradition for Chesney and his tropical country rock. The latest visit from Nick Cannon’s Wild ‘N Out Live touring franchise will come Dec. 13 at Little Caesars Arena as the musician and broadcast star takes a new generation of comics, rappers and singers on the road for his eclectic live show. On sale at 10 a.m. Thursday through Ticketmaster.
Decorated German composer Hans Zimmer will make his Little Caesars Arena premiere Feb. 17 when he's joined by a 19-piece ensemble as he revisits work from a film career that has included scores for "The Dark Knight," "Dune," "Interstellar" and more. On sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster.
More than two decades after their first and only Detroit show, the gents in Gnarls Barkley will hit the Fillmore Detroit on Nov. 13 as part of a nine-city North American run dubbed the To Whom It Still Concerns Tour. The live outing follows the spring release of “Atlanta,” the third album from CeeLo Green and Danger Mouse, the creative force behind genre-bending hits like “Crazy.” On sale at 10 a.m. Thursday through Ticketmaster.
Lukas Graham’s Aug. 29 set at Ford Field was among the Danish band’s last support appearances with Ed Sheeran before it dropped off the stadium tour amid the controversy spurred by Macklemore’s pro-Palestine remarks. The pop-rock outfit, which recently released its fifth album, “Good Times,” will headline Saint Andrew’s Hall on April 7 as part of a 13-city North American run. The Masonic Temple Theatre will host the latest Detroit visit from Death Cab for Cutie on April 1 as the Cascadia indie rockers tour in support of their 11th studio album, “I Built You a Tower.” Australian quartet Swapmeet will open. On sale at 10 a.m. Friday through AXS.
Seasoned Southern rappers 8Ball & MJ and Bun B will give their catalogs the orchestral treatment with a black-tie show at the Fox Theatre on April 24. On sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster.
