If you're flying American Airlines into or out of Michigan airports this fall, you can try new snacks that might make your trip a bit more enjoyable.
By early October, the Fort Worth, Texas-based airline will offer Main Cabin passengers a broader array of menu options as in-flight snacks, American Airlines announced in an Aug. 26 news release. Goldfish crackers will be added to morning flights, while Tate's Bake Shop chocolate chip cookies and Peterson's Savory and Sweet Snack Mix will be added to flights later in the day.
“Small details can make a meaningful difference in the travel experience, especially the familiar touches customers look forward to throughout their journey,” American Airlines' Chief Customer Officer Heather Garboden said.
“As we looked at our snack offerings, we wanted to take the time to get this refresh right by listening to customer feedback and understanding what customers value most. This updated lineup brings together beloved favorites and new choices in a way that feels familiar, elevated and enjoyable.”

American Airlines is expanding its snack menus for Main Cabin flyers based on customer feedback and testing, the release said.
For morning flights, Goldfish crackers will be offered, in addition to Biscoff cookies which are currently available, as a savory option, the release said. For flights later in the day, Goldfish will still be offered, with the addition of Tate's Bake Shop chocolate chip cookies and Peterson's Savory and Sweet Snack Mix.
More options will come in 2027 as American Airlines updates its menu based on customer feedback, the release said.
