All campus activities were "immediately" closed at Baker College in Muskegon, officials announced just after noon Wednesday, Sept. 2.
"All on-campus classes, events and activities are canceled for the remainder of the day," a Facebook post from the college said at noon.
Officials did not provide a reason for why the campus, 1903 Marquette Avenue, closed.
The college says students should check Canvas and their school email for remote learning instructions.
Additionally, students who live in residence halls were instructed to remain in their room until an all-clear is issued.
Faculty and staff were encouraged to work remote and contact their supervisor with questions.
