Vice President JD Vance will be back in Michigan on Tuesday, Oct. 27, for an election rally in Howell.
The Trump 47 Committee, a joint fundraising venture between Trump's Save America committee, the Republican National Committee and other GOP organizations, announced the rally to be held at CHI Aviation in Howell, with Vance set to speak at 1:55 p.m.
The event comes a week before the Nov. 3 election with several Michigan congressional seats held by Republicans and a U.S. Senate seat currently filled by Democrat Gary Peters, who is retiring, up for grabs. The site of Vance's visit is in Michigan's 7th Congressional District, where first-term U.S. Rep. Tom Barrett, R-Howell, is in a tough battle with Lansing activist Will Lawrence, the Democratic
nominee.
Vance was last in Michigan for a Oct. 15 event on Monroe. President Donald Trump is holding a rally in Port Huron on Sunday, Oct. 25.
