Florida Highway Patrol troopers are asking anyone with information about a motorcyclist's death in southeast Marion County to come forward as they continue investigating the crash.
The fatal crash occurred May 23 at the intersection of Maricamp Road and Locust Place in Candler around 3:50 p.m.
According to FHP, David Rushing, 68, of Ocala, was riding a Harley-Davidson westbound in the outside lane of Maricamp Road when the motorcycle overturned onto its left side. Troopers said the bike continued traveling westbound before coming to a stop in the outside lane.

Rushing, who was on his way home, was transported to HCA Florida Ocala, where he later died.
As the investigation remains active, FHP is seeking witnesses or anyone with information about the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact Traffic Homicide Investigator Cpl. Cody Ball at 352-512-6647.
