La Dolce Vita Cafe is expanding to a second venue.
An Aug. 3 news release from Ocala's Paddock Mall states the business is expected to open inside the shopping mall, near Macy's, soon.
According to the release, the cafe offers a wide variety of items such as gelato, coffee and pastries.
Locally owned, the cafe also has a location in Jasmine Square at 6146 SW State Road 200.
The release notes that "La Dolce Vita Café is a European-inspired café specializing in handcrafted gelato, premium espresso, specialty coffee, and freshly prepared croissants and focaccia sandwiches. Rooted in traditional European café culture, the brand combines artisanal craftsmanship with a warm, inviting atmosphere designed for everyday indulgence, relaxation, and meaningful
connection."
Gjon Merdita, owner of La Dolce Vita Cafe, said in the news copy that "We're excited to bring an authentic taste of Europe to our community through handcrafted gelato, premium espresso, and thoughtfully crafted offerings inspired by European café culture."
Merdita adds, "Our goal is to create a welcoming space where guests can slow down, connect, and enjoy a memorable experience with every visit.”
In the same release, mall Local Leasing & Advertising Manager Ashley Tatich said: "As a locally owned business with an established presence in Ocala, they are a great addition to our tenant mix and will provide shoppers with another dining option."
The mall, which is owned and managed by CBL Properties in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is at 3100 SW College Road. The property has more than 80 stores, according to the release.
