Fans of BJ's Wholesale Club can stop by the still-not-open-yet Ocala store on Friday, Aug. 28, to get their membership.

A news release issued by the company says the membership center opens at 9 a.m. The store is located at 6110 SW State Road 200. The store itself doesn't open until fall.

Shovels and helmets were in place before the groundbreaking ceremony of BJ's Wholesale Club on May 27, 2026.

BJ's officials said the goal is to help customers become members and take advantage of special offers, such as:

+ New members can sign up for a one-year membership for $40 with BJ’s Easy Renewal and earn a $10 reward for each $100+ spent during the first 90 days of club opening.

+ One-year BJ’s Club+ memberships are available for $80 with BJ’s Easy Renewal and earn a $15 reward for each $100+ spent during the first 90 days of club opening. Perks of Club+ membership include:
