A pedestrian was hit and killed by a pickup truck on Sept. 22. Here's what we know:
Where was the crash? County Road 25 and Southeast 102nd Terrace near Belleview.
Which agency is investigating the crash? Florida Highway Patrol.
What happened? FHP said a man was walking in the westbound lane. A Ford pickup truck driven by a man was traveling west on CR 25. Troopers said the vehicle hit the man, who was pronounced deceased at the location.
FHP said the victim, who was 32 and from Belleview, was wearing dark clothing. The 43-year-old Ocklawaha driver was on his way to work, troopers said.
What time was the crash? FHP received the call about 6:40 a.m.
