Chick-fil-Ahas paid $1.8 million for 2.38 acres of vacant land at the northeast corner of Silver Springs Boulevard (State Road 40) and Northeast 46th Avenue, according to a deed on file with the court clerk.
There were multiple sellers listed on the deed, most related to family trusts. The deed was recorded with the court clerk on Sept. 17. The address of the land is 4639 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
Chick-fil-A already has multiple locations in Marion County: a spot in the Paddock Mall food court and stand-alone stores at 3445 SW College Road and 5048 SW 48th Ave.
