Tenants are being sought for a two-story, 40,000-square-foot Class A medical office building that will be built at 1208 SE Third Ave. in Ocala, the former site of Southeastern Stone & Tile.
The building will be in close proximity to HCA Florida Ocala Hospital's campus.
"The project is designed for physicians, specialty medical groups, outpatient providers and other healthcare organizations seeking modern, customizable space within one of Marion County’s leading healthcare corridors," according to a news release from Bosshardt Realty Services' Commercial & Land Division.
According to a deed on file with the court clerk, Michael and Michelle Valvo sold the land for $7 million in November 2024 to Marion Community Hospital Inc., which is part of HCA
Healthcare.
Capital Growth Medvest is developing the project, which is expected to be completed in fall 2028. Customizable suites of various sizes will be available.
“The combination of new construction, customizable suites and immediate proximity to HCA Florida Ocala Hospital makes this a compelling long-term location for a wide range of medical users,” Marlon Bruce, commercial adviser with Bosshardt Realty Services, said in the release.
Potential tenants are asked to contact Bruce at 352-502-5407 or marlon@bosshardtrealty.com
This is the latest development at HCA's campus near downtown Ocala. In April, hospital officials announced an expansion project, costing close to $200 million, that includes "a new multi-story patient tower and expand(ed) surgical services."
