Two
people were killed and two people injured early Sept. 29 in a two-vehicle crash at Southeast 36th Avenue and Maricamp Road.
A Dodge Caravan minivan and a Mazda SUV were involved in the crash, which happened about 2:45 a.m., according to Ocala police.
The two people killed, a man and a woman, were in the SUV. The two people in the minivan, both men, were taken to a local hospital and listed in serious condition.
The city of Ocala now has had 10 traffic fatalities in 2026. The eighth victim died Sept. 27 in northeast Ocala.
