It's time again for Give4Marion, the annual two-day campaign when residents are asked to donate money to support local nonprofits.
This will be the seventh Give4Marion, and so far a total of $8.5 million has been raised. The 2025Give4Marion campaign raised $2.3 million, with 5,076 donors and 7,959 gifts.
This year, the event starts at 10 a.m. Sept. 15 and lasts 33 hours into Sept. 16.
All the participating agencies are 501(c)(3) organizations that provide services in Marion County or have their headquarters here. You can donate by going to give4marion.org or givingday.org on your mobile device.
To enhance your gift, consider donating during special times when matching gifts are offered or challenges are spelled out. Check the list atgive4marion.org/prizes
Also, keep an eye on social media, as nonprofits will send out appeals and messages throughout the campaign.
