The 2026 Give4Marion campaign raised $2,343,153, with 4,618 donors and 7,463 gifts.
The annual campaign began at 10 a.m. Sept. 15 and ended 33 hours later on Sept. 16. In between, organizers and participants took to social media and encouraged residents to donate and support nonprofits in Marion County. Many of them also attended the Sept. 15 Marion County Commission meeting, packing the chambers and revving up the crowd.
"We could not be more inspired by your generosity in action, your compassion, and the good you helped spread throughout our community," Give4Marion organizers said on the campaign website. "We proved that together, we can raise the quality of life for everyone in Marion County … One Passion at a Time!"
The 2025Give4Marion campaign
raised about the same amount of money, with 5,076 donors and 7,959 gifts.
Lauren Deiorio, CEO of the Community Foundation of Ocala/Marion County, said she was pleased with the campaign results, especially since sponsors of "giving days" in other communities had reported a slight dip in donations.
She said Marion County nonprofits have embraced this annual campaign. This was the seventh Give4Marion, and the tradition will continue in 2027.
This year's top donation recipient was The Rock Program with more than $260,000.
"This is what happens when a community comes together. Local people changing lives," The Rock wrote on Facebook. The Rock provides clothing, food, school supplies and hygiene items for local students.
