The grand opening for BJ's Wholesale Club, 7351 SW 60th Ave., will be Oct. 23.

For the Friday-Sunday of grand opening weekend (Oct. 23-25) kids are encouraged to come in costume for trick-or-treating inside and outside the club, the company said. There will be four candy stations outside with parking lot activities, and additional candy stations inside. There also will be a photo booth with props and a spooky background design.

For those wishing for an even earlier start to the festivities, BJ's has announced that club members can get a jump start on the club's savings by taking advantage of $2 per-gallon gas for one day only – Oct. 21 – from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. There is a 30-gallon limit.
