The next big project coming to the World Equestrian Center campus isThe Shoppes Off 80th,a high-end outdoor retail complex located near The Equestrian Manor and The Riding Academy Hotel. WEC recently provided an update on this development, which is under construction (you can see it from Northwest 80th Avenue north of State Road 40) and is expected to open later this year.

Here's what we know:
What is The Shoppes Off 80th?
WEC describes it as "the resort's new outdoor shopping destination."
How big will The Shoppes Off 80th be?
According to WEC, it will feature 32 new storefronts, featuring "a distinct mix of luxury brands, upscale retailers and lifestyle experiences."
What will consumers find at The Shoppes Off 80th?
- Harry & Henry’s, described as "an elevated wine destination offering fine wines, specialty spirits and an exclusive cellar and lounge."
- Thoroughbreds, described as "a lifestyle boutique featuring apparel, footwear, accessories and gifts for men, women and children
- Thoroughbreds Denim & Co., described as "a heritage-inspired destination for premium denim
- Mr. Pickles & Sailor Bear Toy Shoppe, an expanded version of the popular toy store that already has a presence inside the Equestrian Hotel.
What else is planned at The Shoppes Off 80th?
"Additional retailers will offer a range of luxury goods and services, from one-of-a-kind
fine jewelry stores and equestrian-inspired art to bespoke floral design and Pilates classes," WEC said in a recent news release.
Elsewhere on campus, WEC already has nearly 30 permanent retailers, plus many other seasonal vendors.
What else is happening at the WEC?
The Equestrian Manor, a high-end dining and event venue, opened earlier this year. County government gave WEC approval to build a massive sports complex on the west edge of campus. Travel + Leisure magazine, as part of its World's Best Awards 2026, included The Equestrian Hotel on its list ofBest Resorts in Florida.
