Ocala police have released the name of the person who was shot and killed at a northwest Ocala home on Sept. 13.
The victim has been identified as Tedarrium Deas, 23.
Two other people were shot in the same incident, police said. They were taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Police did not release their names, but did say they are men ages 31 and 18.
Police have not released any other information. Detectives are continuing the investigation.
Police were called to a block house in the 1100 block of Northwest 12th Avenue in reference to a shooting at 2:08 p.m. Sept. 13. When they got to the location, Deas was deceased and one of the two injured men was on scene. He was taken to the hospital. The second injured man showed up
at a hospital later.
During their investigation, officers recovered a rifle they believe is connected to the shooting. Officers said not long after the shooting, there was a crash involving multiple vehicles. They're investigating to see if it had anything to do with the shooting.
