Missouri State vs Delaware prediction
Prediction: Missouri State 20, Delaware 17
Missouri State heads to Delaware for the first meeting in history between the two programs. The Bears found a spark in quarterback Henry Belin IV last week, securing its first conference win of the season. The offense may get a lift with starting running back Breezy Dubar returning to the lineup after missing the last game. It starts on defense with linebacker Bird Lloyd, one of the best tacklers in the country.
Missouri State will try to get ahead early and hold onto the lead. A quick start is imperative to keep Delaware’s crowd out of the game. If the Bears struggle early, it could be a tough night similar to the Western Kentucky road defeat. Delaware’s star quarterback Nick Minicucci is still week-to-week with an injury. If he cannot go, Missouri State will be given a big boost. Expect a low-scoring game after a Missouri State short week.
