Charles Henry Fouse, was born Oct. 20, 1919. He served as a Private First Class in the United States Army during World War II. Charles married Velma Reed of Dallas, Texas in 1945, and the couple had one son, Robert Charles. Their marriage was short, divorcing in 1949. Charles was listed as a laborer/mechanic by trade. He died at the age of 45 in 1965 and is buried in the Springfield National Cemetery.
Malgie “Mug” Myrtle Herron was born on June 15, 1885. His Selective Service registration card for World War I listed his
occupation as a fireman for the Ash Grove Lime and Cement Company. He worked for that company for 40 years. He was also a retired Frisco employee. Malgie married Maggie Myrtle Ford on May 28, 1910. The couple had three children. Maggie passed away in 1963. Malgie died seven years later. Both Malgie and Maggie are buried in Hazelwood Cemetery.
