SPRINGFIELD — Missouri State (0-1) is set to host in-state foe Lindenwood (1-1) on Saturday, Sept. 12. The Bears welcome the FCS opponent at 6 p.m. inside Plaster Stadium.
Last week, the Bearsreceived $1.2 million to face No. 8 Texas A&M. Now, Missouri State has to shell out some cash to face the St. Louis area squad.
According to the contract, Missouri State will be paying Lindenwood $350,000. The contract between the two universities was signed September 2025.
This is the second-ever meeting between the Bears and Lions. Missouri State defeated Lindenwood 28-14 in 2024.
