Election Day is here in Missouri.
The Aug. 4 Missouri primary features several hotly contested constitutional amendments for voters to decide on, as well as a mix of contested and uncontested primaries for local, state and federal office.

When is the 2026 Missouri Primary Election?
The primary election will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2026.
What time do polls open and close in Missouri?
Polls will open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on Election Day. If you are in line at closing time, you will still be able to cast your vote.
How do I find my polling place?
Missouri voters can find their polling location via the state's voter registration lookup tool.
What should I bring to the polls?
Missouri voters will need a government-issued photo ID to get a ballot. These can include:
- A Missouri driver's license or non-driver ID that is either not expired or expired after the date of the most recent general election.
- A non-expired military ID, including a veteran's ID card
- A non-expired United States passport
- Another photo ID issued by the United States or the state of Missouri that is either not expired or expired after the date of the most recent general election.
If you don't have any of these forms of identification but are a registered voter, you can still cast a provisional
ballot. In this instance, your ballot will only count if you return to your polling place on Election Day with a photo ID, or your local election authority determines that the signature on your provisional ballot envelope matches the signature on your voter registration record.
