Preparations for spooky season are officially underway. Spirit Halloween has already opened one location in Springfield with another coming soon.
Those wanting to get an early start on their Halloween costumes
and decor can already head to 3500 S. Glenstone Ave. in the Primrose Marketplace. Spirit Halloween has moved into the former Pop Shelf location and is open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sundays and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays.
A second location is set to come to Battlefield Mall in the former Dillard's spot at 2825 S. Glenstone Ave. on the north side of the mall. This Spirit Halloween is anticipated to open in September, though a specific opening date has not been set, according to Spirit Halloween's public relations team. The online store locator is updated regularly, so once it's open, shoppers will find more information there.
Spirit Halloween offers Halloween costumes, decorations and media. New arrivals this year include decor and costumes related to popular movies released in recent years, such as "KPop Demon Hunters," "Toy Story," and "SpongeBob SquarePants."
