The Springfield-Greene County Library District has named its officers and trustees for the 2026-27 board year, with Christopher Bozarth selected to serve as board president.
The leadership lineup was announced by the Springfield-Greene County Library Board of Trustees, according to a community announcement. James Nevins will serve as vice president, Mar’Ellen Felin will serve as treasurer and chair of the Finance and Personnel Committee, and Carol Anne Robinette will serve as secretary.
The board also welcomed new trustees representing Greene County and the city of Springfield.
Esther Owen will serve as chair of the Programs, Services and Technology Committee, while Robert Guiler will chair the Buildings and Grounds Committee. Pamela Hernandez
was appointed as the board's new city representative.
David Yancey and Aaron Jones will continue serving as trustees.

The Library Board is made up of nine members who may serve no more than two staggered three-year terms.
Five trustees are appointed by the mayor of Springfield to represent the city. Four trustees are appointed by the Greene County Commission to represent the county.
