Anything that can go wrong has gone wrong for Western Kentucky this season. The Hilltoppers have lost big to powerhouses Georgia and Indiana. They have also lost on the road to Nevada and New Mexico State by multiple possessions.
Missouri State has a big chance to earn a win over a perennial Conference USA power. It will all start on the ground. Western Kentucky has one of the worst rush defenses in the nation and the Bears can certainly exploit this area. With Missouri State’s ability to control the clock and the defense’s strong takeaway number, the Bears can dominate possession, leading to a big road win.
