The first Missouri high school postseason is here.
Girls golf finished district championship play late last week, and the Springfield area will be well-represented at the state championship next week.
The state's top players will descend on four different championship sites. The two-day tournament will take place on Oct. 19-20. Springfield’s Rivercut Golf Course will host Class 4 this year.
To qualify for the state championship, the top two teams in each district advanced. The next-best top-13 individuals also qualified for the final tournament.
