SPRINGFIELD — Missouri State (2-5, 1-2 in CUSA) will be without local standout Kellen Lindstrom for the rest of the season, including Tuesday’s game against Sam Houston.
Head coach Casey Woods confirmed the news to Springfield radio’s ESPN the Jock on Monday, Oct. 26.
“He’s going to have a season-ending surgery coming up,” Woods said. “I hate that for him, but we’ve got to continue to fight.”
The Glendale alum has been a mainstay across the Bears’ defensive line this season. He has nine tackles, including one tackle for a loss. He missed the Kennesaw State game with an injury, but he did feature
in the Bears’ latest game against Delaware.
Lindstrom transferred to Missouri State this season after two years at Tennessee. At Glendale, he was an all-state player and one of the best in the Springfield area in 2023.
Missouri State hosts Sam Houston at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at Plaster Stadium.
