Stone County Ambulance District has begun construction on a new headquarters in Branson West with a ceremonial groundbreaking on Sept. 17. According to a community announcement, the event was held at 11 a.m. on a 4-acre parcel behind Branson West Marine and Powersports on Silver Spur Street. District board members joined Executive Director Jeff Hawkins and developer Andy Mackey to mark the start of the project.
“The groundbreaking represents an exciting step forward for the Stone County Ambulance District as it prepares to establish a new headquarters designed to support its operations and enhance its ability to serve residents and visitors throughout the community,” Hawkins said.
The district said the headquarters will provide dedicated space
for personnel and operations as it continues serving residents and visitors throughout Stone County.
The district also thanked board members, project partners and community supporters who helped advance the project to the construction phase.
