World-renowned animal behavior expert and autism advocate Temple Grandin will speak at Nixa Public Schools' Aetos Center for the Performing Arts on April 22, 2027.
The public event is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Meridian Title Performance Hall, 514 S. Nicholas Road in Nixa, according to a community announcement.
Tickets for the presentation will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. July 29. Admission is $35 per ticket.
Grandin is a professor of animal sciences at Colorado State University and travels extensively to speak with audiences across the United States.
According to the announcement, Grandin has written more than a dozen bestselling books and was the subject of the Emmy Award-winning HBO film "Temple Grandin," which starred Claire Danes.
Grandin also was named to Time magazine's list of the 100 Most Influential People, according to the announcement.
