The City of Springfield will present preliminary plans for transportation and pedestrian upgrades along Kansas Avenue during a public meeting Sept. 17 at New Covenant Academy's Liberty Campus.
The meeting
is scheduled for 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 3581 S. Kansas Ave., according to a community announcement. City staff will outline proposed improvements for the corridor between Maplewood and Walnut Lawn streets and answer questions from residents, business owners and others who use the area.
