Springfield Little Theatre has announced its 2026-27 Board of Directors, naming a new slate of community leaders to help guide the organization through its 92nd season at the historic Landers Theatre.
The board will be led by Seth Swafford of Palen Music Center as president, according to a community announcement. Other executive officers include Meredith Roberts of AECI as vice president, Emily Reese of Forvis Mazars as treasurer, Wade Shelton of APO Community Health Center as secretary and Alec Martinez of Spencer Fane as an executive member. Christine Temple will serve as past president.
The nonprofit theater organization said in the announcement that the board will continue work on Springfield Little Theatre's "10 to 100" Strategic Plan as
it prepares for its centennial celebration in 2034.
Returning board members include Gabby Catlin of Missouri State University, John Davis of JKD Financial, Nancy Evans of Keller Williams, Layne Hunton of Throughline Architecture, Corey Kilburn of Roundtable Legal, Karen Shannon, an HR consultant, Syd Tippie of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Katie Tonarely of Aflac, Brandon Wall of Nabholz Construction and Marissa Weaver of Volt Credit Union.
The organization also added two new directors for the season: Turner Brown of Great Southern Bank and Ginger McCullough of Phelps County Bank.
Cindy Hamilton and Logan Torbet will continue serving as non-voting members in their roles as presidents of The Guild of Springfield Little Theatre and the Springfield Little Theatre Associate Board, respectively.

Springfield Little Theatre also released its 2026-27 Mainstage Season schedule, which includes productions of "Les Misérables," "Arsenic and Old Lace," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer The Musical," "Once Upon a Mattress," "Dear Evan Hansen," "Peter Pan Goes Wrong" and "Mean Girls."
According to the announcement, the season will continue the theater's long-running tradition of bringing volunteers, performers and audiences together through live productions and arts education opportunities.
