Eighty-four women from across New York will compete this weekend for the title of Miss New York USA.
The annual statewide pageant will crown the Empire State’s representative in the Miss USA national competition. Here is what to know about this year’s event.
Miss New York USA pageant details
The 2026 Miss New York USA pageant will be held July 25 and 26 in Parsippany, New Jersey.
The event will be hosted by former Miss New York USA Hannah Lopa, a Spencerport (Monroe County) native who won the state title in 2017.
The first day of competition will feature the preliminary rounds, while the second day will include the final competition and crowning ceremony.
How contestants are judged
Contestants will compete in three areas: interview, swimsuit and evening gown.
Each participant is evaluated on qualities including
character, poise, confidence and personality as judges determine who will represent New York at the Miss USA competition.
